Black Belt Grading - October 2008
Team Dragon performed well at the Black Belt grading on Saturday and Sunday, 4th-5th October. The grading started off slow but gained momentum as the weekend came to a close, with all the Dragon members showing their skills. The armed and unarmed defences seemed to gather an audience as strong realistic techniques were performed in front of a panel of examiners. Dean Cain, Mark Smart and Jack McGee all performed well going for their 1st Dan.

After time was called for the 1st Dan grading which lasted 14 hours, it left Terry Thompson, Callum Thompson and Tom Smart to show a little more in the way of fitness and technique ability. 30 minutes on and the 2nd Dan grading was over, leaving Colin Muress and Louise Nelson to endure yet another thirty minutes, finishing with spin and flying kicks.

UPDATE 1 - results: 100% success!
