Saturday May 5th was the date for the annual ISKA presentation evening, which was held at the Raddison Hotel on the Gold Coast. Four members of Team Dragon were rewarded at the event for their achievements in 2011.

For each ISKA tournament, the winners and runners-up are awarded points, and at the end of the year these are calculated into ratings for the first ten competitors in each section. The award for 2nd to 10th place is a nice certificate, and those who achieve first place are given a certificate plus an embroidered tracksuit jacket.

Here are the four proud Dragons who were honoured:

James Edwards - a very good prospect for the future - was awarded a rated number 9 in Australia for Points, and 7th for Continuous.

Nathan Coleman was rated 3rd in Points and 6th in Continuous

Phoebe Coleman was rated 7th in Points and 7th in Continuous

Coach Pete Cook was rated 1st in Kata/Patterns and 1st in Points.
In addition, Pete also was awarded the accolade "ISKA Australia Sportsman of the Year"

Very well done to all!
