Sunday December 3rd, at the NSW Netball stadium, Anne Clarke Centre in Lidcombe Sydney, International Sports Karate association (ISKA)
held their Best of the Best Australian Championships to celebrate their 10 year anniversary, with competitors from all over Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand.

Competitors had to qualify over the year to enter this tournament. Each state ran tournaments to find the top five in each section. Bayside Black Dragons took six students, including coach Pete Cook. Remarkably, 5 students were from the same family - Mum, Dad, daughter and two sons. Each student did the Bayside and Queensland proud, fighting at their best.

Phoebe Coleman - Black belt section 14yrs 3rd
Jacob Carlyle - Adult mens Novice/intermediate section 2nd & 3rd
Leanne Carlyle - Ladies Novice/intermediate section 1st & 2nd (Australasian Champion)
Coach Pete Cook - Advanced Black Belt section 1st (Australasian Champion)
