Hey all.just posting results of friday.
Dean.good fight and got 4th
Paul. good fights got 2nd and 3rd
Tom won his catergory then went on to fight a lad from malta and won as well.
ben dean and tom are all fighting tomorrow in semi.
we shall keep you posted on all results.

We would like to wish Ben and Tom Smart, and Dean Cain the best of luck at the WUMA World Championships in Athens next weekend. We can't all be there to cheer them along, but we'll be there in spirit, and we are sure they will fly the flag for the Dragons and come back with a title (or three!)

Saturday, (September 13th) and two Dragons - Tom and Callum - were in Tamworth to fight in the WKA Full Contact show. Thug came away with a title!

Last Sunday, September 7th was the date of the latest Open, which was well-attended and a great success. The results & pics are now online. Click HERE

On Saturday, July 12th thirty of the Black Dragons presented a 'demo' to an appreciative crowd at Boultham Park in Lincoln. Evidently the team's display went down well, as we have been asked for another performance at next year's event!

We are aware that there have been problems with the site recently, and that a number of emails sent to us have been returned undelivered. This was due to technical problems with our webhost, but these should now be resolved. Callum 'Thug' Thompson was on the undercard of a world title show in South Shields on Saturday night. He was fighting against a very tough local lad - Liam "Del Boy" Trotter - with 9 wins out of 9 fights. The first round saw Callum having a slow start with Trotter taking the round after a talking-to from coach Pete Cook. The 2nd round had Thug show he can give and take, and hurting his opponent several times.

3rd round Callum took it to Liam and with a crushing front kick to the face the Del Boy went down for an eight count. The fight was restarted but then the Thug hit with another front kick and finished with the superman punch, leaving Trotter slumped over the ropes and winning Callum his 6th fight, and 2nd in succession by way of knock out.

Well done, Callum!

Last Saturday was the date for the Full Contact Show in Tamworth. Flying the flag for Team Dragon were two of our fighters, with ten cheerleaders along for support. How did our lads go on? (Do you really need to ask?!)
